Christian Science has been a way of life for me and my wife for over forty years, and through our study and practice of this Science we have been blessed beyond measure in every facet of our lives.
In 1985 we took a trip to Europe. Early in the trip I experienced a severe pain in my arm that impaired my ability to drive. I called a Christian Science practitioner in the city we were then visiting for prayerful assistance, and shortly all symptoms of the complaint vanished.
We were also very grateful for the evidence of divine protection we had throughout this trip. Terrorist acts—including the hijacking of a plane in Beirut and the explosion in the Frankfurt airport—were occurring at the time, so we were praying daily and specifically about man's safety from such acts.
