REPORT ON ANNUAL MEETING

From the September 1988 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In a message to followers who were laying the cornerstone of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Concord, New Hampshire, in 1903, Mary Baker Eddy wrote: "Having all faith in Christian Science, we must have faith in whatever manifests love for God and man. The burden of proof that Christian Science is Science rests on Christian Scientists" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 158).

This year's Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, reported on the many evidences of love for God and man and the proofs of Christian Science that had been gained during the previous year. An abbreviated account of the meeting follows.

The members sang Hymn 210 from the Christian Science Hymnal.
