Christian Science was introduced to our family over fifty years ago when a neighbor saw our need and invited my parents to attend a Christian Science lecture. This was a high point in our lives, as my father was completely healed of alcoholism and chronic appendicitis at that lecture. My parents began attending a branch church, and my brother and I were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School. Through four generations our whole family has received many healings and many blessings as we have continued to learn more of God through the study of Science.
After college I entered the business world. At that point I began to have migraine headaches, which necessitated my staying in bed for two or three days at a time. I had help from a Christian Science practitioner, and the headaches completely disappeared. This was many years ago, and the healing has been permanent.
To relate all the healings our family has had would be a big task. I would, however, like to mention two experiences that have meant a great deal to me.
