Christian Science entered my life in the fall of 1979, and since that time my family and I have been the beneficiaries of many wonderful blessings. The following was my first healing in Christian Science.
In September of 1979 I was admitted to a surgical ward of a hospital with what had been diagnosed as severe hemorrhoids. I had been suffering from hemorrhoids for twenty years. To alleviate the pain and other symptoms, over the years I had taken one medication or another regularly.
After I had been in the hospital for some days, three surgeons examined me and concluded that it would be unsafe to perform an operation. They feared complications might set in. I was then discharged after being told to continue using the prescribed medication until the condition was such that an operation would be considered safe.
