Unrestricted movement

From the April 1989 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Movement of the body doesn't have to be impeded, at any stage of our experience. If muscles are not functioning properly, or if pain confines our movement, healing is possible, despite the frustration or fear we may feel. That healing comes through the power of the Christ, the omnipotent Truth taught, lived, and demonstrated by Christ Jesus.

The Bible tells of a man "sick of the palsy," who was brought to Jesus to be healed. See Mark 2:3-12 Unable to walk, he had to be carried on his bed by four friends.

The Master's response to the man's plight was to address the mental condition. He said to the man, "Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." When he commanded him to get up and walk, the man did so, immediately.
