Church Bulletin Board

From the April 1989 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Whether at a shopping mall, on a college campus, or in the foyer of a church, a bulletin board is a great place for people to share information. You can learn a lot about an active community from reading local bulletin boards. We hope you'll enjoy this bulletin board and feel encouraged to join in and share experiences.

As a new Sunday School superintendent, I've learned a great deal watching what has happened in our branch church through the dedicated efforts of the former superintendent.

For a long time our church had an empty Sunday School. The former superintendent soon saw that when visitors did come, there just wasn't sufficient preparation and readiness for them. She prayed diligently as she realized this situation couldn't be accepted any longer.
