In the Manual of The Mother Church, Mary Baker Eddy was inspired to provide for the continuity of her teaching by the establishment of a Board of Education. The Normal class of the Board of Education is conducted triennially for qualified Christian Science practitioners. In accordance with the By-Law "Healing Better than Teaching" (Art. XXX, Sect. 7) commitment to Christian Science healing and an active practice are requisite for applicants.
Christian Science practitioners who feel ready to prepare for the responsibility of teaching Christian Science, and who wish to be considered for the class to be held in December 1991, should request an application from:

The need for an authorized teacher in the area where the applicant has already established his or her practice will be given consideration as well as the qualifications of the applicants. Members of the class will be selected in accordance with provisions of the Church Manual.
