CHURCH BULLETIN BOARD

and items of note this month

From the March 1991 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Whether at a shopping mall, on a college campus, or in the foyer of a church, a bulletin board is a great place for people to share information. You can learn a lot about an active community from reading local bulletin boards. We hope you'll enjoy this bulletin board and feel encouraged to join in and share experiences.

When I thought of Sunday, I always thought about church. The two just went together. But when I thought of Wednesday, church was not on my list of priorities. There was always some reason why we didn't attend church on Wednesday nights.

Then one day I received a telephone call from a church member who explained that she was calling members to let them know that their support was needed on Wednesday night. She said that the attendance was dropping and that it seemed right to let this need be known.
