The Christian Science Monitor An international newspaper established in 1908 by Mary Baker Eddy. "The object of the Monitor," she stated, "is to injure no man, but to bless all mankind." This mandate continues into the present. The Monitor is published five days a week in the United States. The weekly World Edition (available outside the U.S.) is circulated in 147 countries.
