I have wanted to write a testimony for a long time, because I am very grateful for so many healings. I have not always been a Christian Scientist, but I have always been very Bibleoriented, in that when I was a child we were encouraged to read the Bible daily, pray daily, and go to church every Sunday. This was our family life.
At one point I noticed a growth on my wrist, and spoke of it to my family. I was told that if someone would hit the growth three times with the Bible, it would go away. Well-meaning family members did this, but the growth remained unchanged. Realizing that I did not wish to be hit anymore, I made no further requests for that treatment.
As time went on, I moved to another country. While there I sought medical help twice for the lump, but both times it returned. At this point I decided to forget about it.
