"The king's daughter is all glorious within." What a wonderful healing thought! Women (and men) everywhere might ponder this verse from Psalms often, to assure themselves of God's love for them. To know that we are truly "within" the kingdom of God always, and that our environment is spiritual and God-sustained, are beautiful healing thoughts.
When I worked in Chicago, near a Christian Science Reading Room, I spent some time there during most lunch hours. One Friday as I walked there, I felt impelled to pray specifically for myself. I had never had more direct, spiritual guidance.
So I picked a quiet desk and sat down to ask God's direction on what to study. Immediately some words from Science and Health came to me, words I had often pondered when praying for myself and others: "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." The statement is so absolute and all-inclusive; there is no probing into mortality for error. It is wonderful prayer; beginning with the true idea and completely denying all possibility of discord. It also completely removes whatever needs elimination from thought and thus from human existence.
