Love

From the October 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I ponder many times each day
The great wonder called love;
It's stronger than the strongest steel,
More tender than a dove.

The Bible tells us God is Love,
The fount whence comes all life;
And in this Love divine there is
No fear, disease, or strife.

Love isn't something one can see,
Or taste, or touch, or smell;
It's not some kind of merchandise
That one can buy or sell.
