To our readers...

From the Publishing Director's Office

From the February 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Next month's issue of the Journal will focus on the mission and worldwide activities of The First Church of Christ, Scientist (see announcement on page 44).

Information presented in this special issue will help the public, as well as members of The Mother Church, gain a clearer perspective on the Church's healing role in the world today. It will be particularly useful for sharing with friends and neighbors who might be interested in learning more about the Church of Christ, Scientist.

Sometimes, the Journal is thought of as a magazine mainly for members of The Mother Church. The Journal, however, is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in a record of progress in the practice of scientific spiritual healing. Its insightful articles, inspiring reports of healing, and useful directory are intended for all "honest seekers for Truth." See Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. xii.
