ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MOTHER CHURCH—1996

From the July 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

At this year's Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S A, held on Monday, June 3, members were invited to explore together Mary Baker Eddy's mission and purpose for the Church today, and to continue to examine the role of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in Christian Science Reading Rooms and in their communities. Reports from officers of The Mother Church, a panel discussion by some of the Church's senior managers, and reports from the Field brought out the vital role that scientific Christianity plays in proclaiming the law of God and its promise of healing and regeneration.
