It Is With deep gratitude to God that I write to express my joy for His blessings, which have sustained me throughout my life. Over the years I have enjoyed reading, and have been enriched by, the testimonies others have so lovingly shared. It therefore came to me that I, too, could share the love that has so blessed me and my family and continues to do so.
X-rays indicated that I would not walk for six months to a year.
As a teenager, I fell down a set of stairs and could not walk. My father, who was not a Christian Scientist at that time, carried me to a doctor. X-rays indicated that I would not walk for six months to a year. When I asked my parents if I could have Christian Science treatment, they agreed, and my mother called a Christian Science practitioner to treat me. Within three days I was up walking and dancing. I have had freedom of activity from that time to this day, enjoying sports of all kinds, lifting babies and grandchildren, doing yardwork, moving furniture, and so forth.
