I HAVE BEEN AN ACTIVE Christian Scientist for many years and have had many healings of things like colds, flu, effects of accidents, shyness. I've also had relationships renewed and financial problems solved. One recent healing inspired me greatly.
God sends only good into our life.
I was praying to overcome flu symptoms. What came to me was from the Bible, where Jesus said to a group of his followers, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31, 32). The message here, for me, was to continue to reach out to God through prayer and study of His Word. Then I would know the truth, and the truth would make me free. I reasoned that God sends only good into our life. The thought came to me that God is infinite good, the only Mind, and that He is filling all space and is the only genuine influence I could feel. This insight brought about a complete healing, and all the symptoms disappeared.
