COMMUNICATION

"The melody of Mind"

When the barriers to mutual understanding come down, the result is pure music!

From the December 2000 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The most rapid communication in the world does not require wires, nor does it even need radio waves. It comes from Mind, God, who is constantly communicating His thoughts to His idea, His creation. Such communication is instantaneous.

I was on a reporting assignment overseas.

How can we experience it? Through what Science and Health describes as "spiritual sense." Mary Baker Eddy writes, "Spiritual sense is a conscious, constant capacity to understand God." Science and Health, p. 209. As we cultivate this capacity, we find that communication with each other becomes easier and more natural, because our consciousness becomes a transparency for what Mind is revealing.
