Mary Baker Eddy's design for her Church included a thorough system of education, beginning with Sunday School for children up to the age of twenty. Why is Sunday School so vital and relevant for young people?
Olga Chaffee: It's natural for children to turn to what is good. They have an intuitive desire to discover what is good and legitimate, much as a plant seeks the sunlight. The plant doesn't have to be taught to do that. When children hear the truth, they intuitively know "this is about my being."
