A COMMITMENT TO SPIRITUAL HEALING

The healing practice of Christian Science includes you

From the November 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Perhaps at no time since the 19th century has spiritual healing been of such interest to so many people. Books are being written and seminars are being given around the world on this subject as the public looks for alternative methods of healing. And people are being healed through spiritual means—sometimes with the help of a mentor or healer, and sometimes through their own efforts and prayers.

For more than a hundred years, Christian Science, which was discovered by Mary Baker Eddy in 1866, has been healing people of physical, mental, and personal difficulties. Mary Baker Eddy's seminal work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, is used by both Christian Science practitioners and their patients as a textbook on spiritual healing.

In this workshop, which was given at the 2002 Annual Meeting & Conference of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, several Christian Scientists spoke about the healing practice of Christian Science.
