I was healed of a respiratory problem that I suffered with for 10 years. Although I never had the situation diagnosed, the symptoms indicated it was asthma. When the difficulty became especially distressing, I'd stay with my parents or sister, and they would pray with me.
I wanted to feel God's presence.
I often called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me, and he or she would remind me that my nature was perfect and not subject to illness. Each time I called a practitioner, I felt relief from all the symptoms. However, the problem only got more severe as the years went on, and two or three times I didn't think I'd survive the night.
