Christian Science teaches us that the action of the Christ is always powerful and present to heal. I would like to share a testimony that demonstrated the activity of the Christ in my individual experience.
When I was in my mid-teens, an abnormal condition developed on the soles of my feet. I attended a Christian Science Sunday School regularly, but did not pray about the situation. In fact I felt rather overwhelmed, as I had never faced a challenge of this nature before.
During this time, our family spent a vacation, along with extended family, at a beach house on the coast of the Indian Ocean. One afternoon my sisters and I, together with our cousins, were having great fun sliding down the balustrade that led to the garden. My mother and my aunt and her husband were standing on the lawn near the bottom of the stairs while we were doing this.
