As I parted from a friend recently, he said to me, “Be safe.” I know he was wishing the very best for me. He smiled warmly when I replied, “Yes, I am.”
What prompted my response? Was it just hopeful optimism? No. It was an affirmation of spiritual reality, of good as inevitable. It might be called faith.
When you hear the word faith, what comes to thought? Perhaps words like trustfulness, conviction, confidence, expectation.
