First appeared as a Web Original on June 5, 2020

It is a joy and a privilege for me to share news of today’s admission of new members. Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual. On Friday, June 5, the Board voted to admit new members to our worldwide church family.

Applications for this admission were received in English, French, German, Igbo, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Spanish and were sent to us from the following locations: Angola, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Democratic Republic of Congo, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay, Zimbabwe.

These newest members of our worldwide church family unite with us in making a commitment to the Church Mary Baker Eddy founded that is “designed to be built on the Rock, Christ; even the understanding and demonstration of divine Truth, Life, and Love, healing and saving the world from sin and death; ...” (Manual, p. 19).
