Nearing the end of my second pregnancy, the kind family doctor informed me that our baby boy was in a breech position. He knew I was a Christian Scientist and asked me to pray about it. My next appointment was set for the following week, a week before the baby was due.
When I stepped out of his office, it was difficult for me to pray, as I was afraid. But I persisted, because I knew that full reliance on Christian Science heals. I had read about many proofs of its effectiveness in the Christian Science magazines and heard many testimonies shared at Wednesday testimony meetings.
I dealt with the fear by praying to God, divine Love. Our dear Master, Christ Jesus, taught his followers the Lord’s Prayer, which starts with God, our only cause and creator—our Father-Mother.
