We are impartially blessed

From the October 2023 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Christian Science Sunday Schools are a vital way for children and teenagers to nurture growth in understanding and proving Christ’s healing message. For many people, their Sunday School education lays the foundation for a lifetime of spiritual growth, healing, and loving their neighbor.

Perhaps for that very reason, people who have found the teachings of Christian Science later on in life are sometimes tempted to think that they are at a disadvantage in getting to know God. They might feel they have to make up for lost time.

On the other hand, others, who attended Sunday School growing up and have continued in their embrace of Christian Science, might sometimes find themselves thinking: “I wish I could feel the freshness and inspiration of these ideas that people new to Christian Science often seem to feel!” And this thinking might make them believe that they are at a disadvantage in continuing to get to know God.
