Years before becoming a dedicated student of Christian Science, I attended a Christian Science Sunday School. My step-father introduced my mother to Christian Science, and I was a grateful beneficiary of that blessing.
I am very appreciative that the Christian Science Sunday School receives pupils up to age twenty, as I had a lot of questions when I was nineteen. I was attending college on a full scholarship and was engaged to a man who was in the same college program that I was in. He was overbearing and became abusive verbally and eventually physically. I had not told anyone of this situation.
Every Sunday, my Sunday School teacher reminded me that I was the perfect child of God—loved, cared for, pure, and innocent.
