Since I was introduced to Christian Science as a twelve-year-old, I have repeatedly experienced the grace of God, who is infinite Love. I very quickly believed and felt the truth of what the first chapter of the Bible says: “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; . . . And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good” (Genesis 1:27, 31). Shortly after learning about Christian Science, I was completely freed from roundworms, which had been plaguing me for several weeks, through the simple recognition of God’s healing power. Within a few minutes, they were all expelled at once. This was my first healing in Christian Science.
Then I began attending the Sunday School at the Christian Science society in my home city. While I was still in Sunday School I became a member of The Mother Church and shortly after a branch church member for the first time. As a college student, I also joined a Christian Science college organization. I was able to serve several branch churches and the college organization in a number of beneficial capacities.
During my university studies and long professional career, which I continued for many years beyond the usual retirement age, I repeatedly saw proof of the grace of God through what I was learning in Christian Science. This was witnessed in physical healings, in overcoming difficulties during my studies, and in the resolution of professional problems. It has also been witnessed in 58 years of marriage to my dear wife.
