The daystar of Christian Science

From the December 2024 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Wisemen were led to behold and to follow this daystar of divine Science, lighting the way to eternal harmony.

—Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures, p. vii

Imagine the sky
a relentless, hovering gray—
cloud-like in foggy stagnation.

Then, a loosening
in the seam of night.
The light of Christ

gleams through a star,
illuming the way of Truth.
Darkness dissolves

in the coral glow of sunrise.
The daystar is clear, anchored
forever at eternal noon.
