One of the most spiritual statements I have ever heard is “God is All.” Although I found this difficult to understand at first, I clung tightly to the idea until I began to gain its full meaning.
Because God is Love, everything is included in this Love. The infinite power of God, good, guides us at every moment and leads us to Truth. As Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
The oneness of God and man is a shield against beliefs that would deprive us of good. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes: “Let us rid ourselves of the belief that man is separated from God, and obey only the divine Principle, Life and Love. Here is the great point of departure for all true spiritual growth” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 91). In that oneness is our strength, our real being, and our immortality.
