Christian Science teaches the allness of Spirit and the nothingness of matter. Through the pure metaphysics of divine Science the metaphysician learns how to distinguish between fact and fiction and how to handle mental malpractice, or evil thought transference.
For many people music is the human phenomenon which comes closest to representing spiritual substance. The events are considered important because it had not previously been known whether an eastern country could overcome a western country or develop modern military technology equal to the West's.
Universal peace. Can it ever be attained on this planet, in this age? Or is it a state capable of being attained only hereafter in another world? To the truly Christian thinker everywhere there can be no slightest doubt that the goal of universal peace not only is attainable here but that Christ Jesus, the Prince of Peace, has clearly charted the way.
