Time is not a factor in the reality of being. It is no part of immortal Life. Christian Science teaches that time is a product of mortal mind, a phase of the dream of mortality. This dream has nothing to do with God, or Life. Man, the image of God, reflects and expresses divine Life; he is not included in mortality and therefore is not subject to time.
Christ Jesus said, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life."John 3:36 As a student of Christian Science progresses in scientific understanding and demonstration, he shows forth the possibilities of everlasting life right here and now. He manifests increasing freedom from the pressures and limitations imposed by the belief of time. Indeed, he demonstrates dominion over time itself.
In the light of spiritual understanding, one sees that time is powerless to depress one's inspiration, deplete one's resources, or terminate one's existence. Opportunity, power, possibility, are ever present with Spirit. Time cannot interfere with the demonstration of divine Science.
