One of the characteristics of infinite Life is that it is always unfolding. Its expression is continually new and fresh. Man, the image and likeness of God, expresses, or reflects, newness of Life. Consequently one might well conceive that there is never a dull moment in the kingdom of heaven. If we find that our experience is becoming stereotyped, uninteresting, and repetitious, we need to gain a new idea of Life and its eternally unfolding nature.
In Christian Science we learn that Life is God and that He is both infinite and eternal. Infinity defies repetition, dullness, routine. There is no limit to that which is infinite, and there is no end to that which is eternal. Each one of us can begin to comprehend the nature of this divine Life and feel the influence of it in his daily affairs.
The vitality of Life is certainly not confined to youth. We may hear someone remark that he is past the prime of life. Such a remark becomes obsolete when we know what Life is. It is said of Moses, at what was called an advanced age, "His eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated."Deut. 34:7; There is no time after which Life diminishes and deteriorates. Life is continually at its prime, and its vitality goes on endlessly as new vistas unfold. One should never consent to take the downward road. Life is not to be measured by mortal mind standards, confined to mortal expectations, or limited in its scope. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy says: "Immortality is not bounded by mortality. Soul is not compassed by finiteness. Principle is not to be found in fragmentary ideas."Science and Health, pp. 301, 302;
