Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

MINDING ONE'S OWN BUSINESS

The expression, "minding one's own business," has had various meanings. One is that the affairs of another should not be pried into, nor should there be an attempt to dominate or dictate to another if, by so doing, one abrogates prerogatives and rights.

POUR IN OIL!

Recently when we were on a trip some four hundred miles from home, we found that we had a leak in our power steering unit. The mechanic to whom we took the car for repairs said that he had no part with which to fix it and that it would take several days to get such a part from the factory.

"BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS, I AM"

If there ever was a doubt about man's pre-existence—his existence before his so-called human birth—our great Master, Christ Jesus, removed that doubt when he said, "Before Abraham was, I am" ( John 8:58 ). He voiced the same idea when he said, "I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father" ( John 16:28 ).

THE HARVEST HOUR

In his familiar parable of the tares and the wheat, Jesus pointed out the great importance of the harvest hour. When the servants discovered that both tares and wheat were growing together in the field and reported this to the owner, he cautioned them to wait until the harvest before attempting to separate the valuable wheat and the useless tares, because a premature weeding process might result in destroying not only the tares but the wheat.

"COME OUT ... AND BE SEPARATE"

For one who wishes to attain peace of mind, health, and happiness, it is of great importance that he learn to recognize his true being as a child of God and to separate this true self from the mortal concept. The first chapter of Genesis states clearly ( verse 27 ), "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

UTILIZING MIND'S POWER

We seem to be in a material body and living in a material world. But through the earnest study of Christian Science we learn that since God is the only Mind, true existence is divinely mental or spiritual.

HEAVEN WITHIN

Heaven on earth is a startling idea, heaven within us even more startling. To the Christian Scientist these ideas are not impossibilities.

PURPOSE IS WITHIN

The young Christian Scientists of today are having to chart their course through life amid a new flood of materialism—evil's self-saving attempt to hold the line against the force of Spirit, which is compelling evil's destruction. For nearly a century Christian Science has been awakening many to the glory, freedom, and purpose of man's spiritual selfhood, instructing them in the use of God's laws in the demonstration of intelligence and direction, and holding them in the mighty discipline of the development of eternal Life, Truth, and Love.

DIVINELY INSPIRED WRITINGS

We are living in the midst of the greatest blessing that has come to any age since the time of Christ Jesus. This blessing is the final and complete revelation of Truth in Christian Science.

"COUNT IT ALL JOY"

Temptation has many masks, but only two faces. It may present itself in innumerable guises, but basically they can all be resolved into two appeals: pleasure in matter or pain in matter.
