Right thinking is a blessed and beneficent activity of human consciousness, which exercises a liberating influence. The highest form of human thinking is prayer.

The important function of the gates which were set into the walls of ancient cities led to the use of the words "gate" and "gates" as figures of speech in Bible literature. Citizens and friends might freely come and go through the guarded openings, but all gates could be firmly closed against an enemy.

Order is one of the most striking things about our universe. Every planet keeps its place and revolves in its appointed orbit.

We hear continually these days about our rights. When nations and their leaders become tyrannical, is it not because they fail to understand the true rights of man? In family relationships the question is often, Who has the right? A correct understanding of the rights which God decrees for His idea, man, brings the necessary peace and adjustment.

Mary Baker Eddy writes in "No and Yes" ( p. 17 ): "In Science there is no fallen state of being; for therein is no inverted image of God, no escape from the focal radiation of the infinite.

UNFOLDMENT should be a subject of universal interest, because unfoldment is inherent in all ideas. We see unfoldment illustrated in such fields of activity as illumination, transportation, communication, and in business and social services.

A Much-Loved account of a healing by Christ Jesus is given in the fifth chapter of the Gospel of John. The healing occurred by the side of the pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem which was frequented by the sick.
