A Subject much discussed today is that of preparedness—preparedness as to resources and strength, preparedness as to quick, wise, and efficient action in time of need. While we can see the wisdom of such action in a peace-loving society, are we sufficiently aware of our duty as individuals to maintain an alert state of thought? The mental preparedness of the individuals composing a society determines the effectiveness of the collective welfare.
When the young prophet Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord saying ( Isa. 6:8 ), "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" he answered eagerly, "Here am I; send me.
If we would have healthy bodies and live a life of peace and happiness in this human existence, we must learn to know God; we must live according to divine Principle, To know God is to know man, the real harmonious man; but first we must know God.
