AS an antithesis of ideas, the study of the words "dominion" and "domination" affords an array of contrasts, pointing in the last analysis to the full realization of man's sonship with divine Love. What is the basis of dominion? It is man's inseparability from his creator, omnipotent divine Mind.

IN studying the record of creation, as found in the first chapter of Genesis, the question naturally arises as to why the chronological order seems reversed, in such a text as, "The evening and the morning were the first day. " A little investigation, however, shows that the Hebrews recorded the passing of time from sundown to sundown; so that the evening literally precedes the morning in their diary of human events.

In Jeremiah we read, "Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever. " This is but one of the many precious promises about the promised land which are found in the Book of books, and which are bringing encouragement and joy and hope to mankind.

IF there should be any to-day who are sincerely struggling to overcome such faults as impatience, untempered or unwise zeal, animal courage, followed by a reaction of fear and failure, it is surely encouraging to read what is recorded of the Apostle Peter in the New Testament; for this ardent disciple of Jesus seems to have had to contend with such difficulties as these, difficulties which frequently got him into trouble, necessitating his progression through much suffering and remorse. Yet, be it remembered, it was he to whom the Master gave the name of Peter (meaning a stone), in commendation of his inspired declaration, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God," according to Matthew.

THE prevalent beliefs that man has a mortal beginning, a mind and life of his own separate from God, and that He lives on a material earth governed by material laws, are a false foundation, from which proceed fear, disaster, sin, sickness, and death. To deny these beliefs, and to maintain persistently that Spirit is man's origin, and that he always has lived and always will live in God, divine Mind, brings an ever increasing degree of freedom from materiality, and a corresponding ability to demonstrate spiritual power.

IN studying the so-called natural sciences in high school and college, the student acquires his knowledge by means of textbook study, classroom recitations, lectures, and laboratory work. The textbook presents the subject in full, and is used as guide and reference throughout the course.
