Testimonies of Healing
I shall always remember with joy and gratitude my first reading of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
About twenty years ago I was greatly discouraged. For a long time life had seemed to me a tempest, filled with grueling work, with physical and moral suffering.
Since my first testimony, which appeared in the Sentinel over ten years ago and in which I expressed humble gratitude for God's protection and His divine guidance, we have had many proofs of His love in our family. Christian Science came to me about thirteen years ago, when I felt as though I had reached the end of my rope. I am grateful to have had early instruction in a Christian Science Sunday School. This has meant a great deal to me in establishing freedom from fear of disease, and it has protected me from many common material beliefs that are generally accepted.

Two summers ago, during a dry spell, I decided to apply a dust allayant on our driveway. I secured this material at a dealer's, and two men lifted the bag into the rear compartment of my car.
