My last testimony appeared in the Sentinel in March, 1957. And it is time I submitted another! This time I should like to express gratitude first for a healing of arthritis.
All seven members of my family were having medical treatment for the disease. I was happy that I had not had their pain and expense, thinking that because I was a student of Christian Science I could not have the illness. But about two years ago its symptoms developed and for a week grew steadily worse. This finally alerted me to what I had been doing. I had been thinking that my family could have arthritis, therefore making it real. If it was real for them, it was also real for me.
I called my teacher in Christian Science and asked him for a treatment, knowing that he expects a healing to take place in one treatment. He agreed to help me, and I endeavored to study the textbook, Science and Health by our Leader, and to pray for inspiration and understanding to gain my healing.
