Testimonies of Healing

" A little child shall lead them" ( Isa. 11:6 ).

In Psalms we read ( 46:1 ), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. " For more than twenty years I have had innumerable proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science in my own experience and in that of my family.

My first healing in Christian Science was that of chronic stomach trouble of over twenty years' standing. Four different physicians failed to give me any relief.

I first heard of Christian Science some years ago. However, at that time I was not in the least interested.

On page 254 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy says, "Imperfect mortals grasp the ultimate of spiritual perfection slowly; but to begin aright and to continue the strife of demonstrating the great problem of being, is doing much. God gives us this promise in the Bible ( Isa. 43:2 ): "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.

" Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practised.

Christian Science was first presented to our family by a woman in charge of the office in which my mother was employed. I was enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School, and from the first I loved the truths I learned.
