Testimonies of Healing

The following testimony is given in loving gratitude for the Christian Science Sunday Schools and the wonderful inspiration and help they are to our children. About four years ago, when our daughter was ten years old, a growth developed on the bottom of one foot.

I wish to express my gratitude for all the good I have received through Christian Science. In many cases I have gained help and comfort through the application of these wonderful teachings.

I am happy to confirm this testimony. As I was living near my sister at the time, I saw this beautiful demonstration take place.

I am grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me. I can state here only a few of all the blessings which I have had in the last fortyfive years or more.

My gratitude is very great for Christian Science and for the fact that our four children are learning to use this Science and have confidence in its reliability. We have had many healings, but one has stood out particularly to us all.

I wish to express the deepest gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and mine during the past twenty years. I did not turn to Christian Science for healing but because I believed it to be the absolute truth; none the less, all my physical needs have been met from that time onward, and it has been my greatest help in bringing up a family of four children.

When my granddaughter was born the attendants were shocked to see that there was a sack of fluid near the lower part of the backbone; and I was told that one joint of the bone was telescoped up into another, that in all probability she would not live; but that if she did she would be paralyzed from the waist and would never walk. We had been students of Christian Science for several years and a practitioner was already working for the mother, so work was begun at once for the baby.

It is with a heart full of gratitude that I send this testimony. Someone has written, "The darkest hour precedes the dawn.

Christian Science has indeed proved to be a blessing to us, and I want to express my gratitude for our understanding of God, and for His loving care. A few years ago we lost our parents; and as there were four girls in our family, all minors, and there were no relatives who could aid us, a great problem confronted us.

I want to tell of some of the blessings that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science as revealed by our revered Leader. Through this teaching I am learning that "God's promises are kept.
