Testimonies of Healing

I wish to express my deep gratitude for the blessings I have received through Christian Science. I had a religious training and was a church-member from my girlhood, but in my Bible study I often wondered why we could not be healed in our day as people were in the time of our Lord.

WE are most deeply grateful for the many proofs of the power of divine Love which we are daily receiving through Christian Science, and for the clearer concept of God, omnipotent good, which these teachings bring us. Our endeavor is to express gratitude therefor through right thinking and acting.

It is with a grateful heart that I testify to the blessings received through Christian Science. For five years I suffered with stomach trouble, and the physicians whom I consulted succeeded only in relieving me temporarily.

As it is often impossible for me to attend the Wednesday evening meetings, I would like herewith to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is daily doing for me. I feel that we could not dispense with it any more.

It would be impossible to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, it has brought so much freedom from fear. My first healing was that of a sprained ankle, which had seemed very painful when I hobbled into the practitioner's office, but all pain left instantaneously in one treatment.

It is with gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me that I send this testimony. I was what the doctors called a broken-down nurse, as I suffered from sleeplessness, chronic stomach trouble, nervousness, and at times was conscious of a great sense of weakness.

I came into Christian Science in October, 1911, from a motive of investigation. I felt from a child that we were not being taught the truth of the Bible, and was therefore in a state of dissatisfaction with the orthodox teaching.

I feel that I can never express in words the deep love and reverence for God which has come to me through the understanding of Christian Science. I can never fully express all the gratitude that is in my heart for the blessings I have received, but I write this testimony with the hope that it will be of some benefit to those who may read it.

Christian Science was brought to my notice about five years ago by a gentleman who was interested in the subject. I began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and the other literature, and became very much interested.

I desire to give grateful acknowledgment of the power of Truth as manifested in a recent healing in my family. About a year ago a very peculiar nervous affection seemed to take possession of our small daughter.
