Christian Scientists' Church and Association Notes

From the November 1885 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Christian Scientists' Association, held its regular monthly meeting at the Mass. Metaphysical College, Oct. 7th, President M. B. G. Eddy, in the chair. A prominent feature of the meeting was the admission of students from Maine, Minnesota. Michigan, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Iowa and California.

The unity and brotherly love, that is so characteristic of the meetings, were not exceptions in this.

The remarks of the President were solid and inspiring. Never before has the standard of true moral excellence waved its beauteous folds above humanity as now, beckoning all to find a sure retreat from every ill under its protection.
