Christian Science is the greatest blessing that has come into my life. When it was brought to my notice about four years ago, I accepted it with an open mind and heart, never once doubting the statements made by my sister. I attended the testimony meeting the following Wednesday evening, and was so impressed that I never went back to the church of which I was a member. I was not at that time in need of physical healing, but have since had many demonstrations which have meant much to me and which have always been a step in spiritual advancement. Stomach and bowel trouble, sea-sickness, bleeding at the nose, and burns have been quickly overcome.
The path that leads to harmony is not a bed of roses, and I have had many a hard climb, but have always pressed on, trusting God, and I have been wonderfully blessed. I used to have a sense of lack, not only of money and material things, but of happiness. All this has been eliminated, and in its stead has come an enlarged understanding of God as the protector of man and his real source of supply, together with a sense of peace before unknown to me.
The Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, is indeed a blessing to mankind, and the spiritual uplift I have gained from its study cannot be expressed in words. The Bible is loved and studied more since Christian Science came into our lives. A great light has been thrown on this Book of books, and I often wonder how mankind could have been so blind all these years to the promises of good it holds.
