With deepest gratitude I testify to the healing power of divine Love. When using the oven of a fireless gas range, I did not push back far enough the lever that makes the oven fireless, so the valve was partly closed and only one burner lighted. As a result, when the oven door was opened the gas exploded, burning my face, eyes, hands, and neck, and my hair was all ablaze. The fire was extinguished by my daughter, and I immediately declared the truth and tried to realize that there are no accidents in God's kingdom. A Christian Science practitioner was quickly summoned. I began to feel easier before the practitioner came, and during the treatment the severe pain gradually left. The accident happened a little after eight o'clock and by half past nine all pain had ceased. In two weeks my face was entirely healed without a scar or blemish, and I experienced no bad effects whatever.
I have had several wonderful experiences of healing through the help of practitioners. Kidney trouble, gall-stones, rheumatism, inflammation of the nerves, and severe colds have been overcome.
