Christian Science was brought to me through a neighbor when I was very much in need of comfort. From the first the light began to dawn on my darkened thoughts and illumed my way to the truth. The first healing in our home was that of my little daughter. She was taken ill with scarlet fever, but the third day she arose from her bed and dressed, being perfectly healed. Mrs. Eddy tells us that "the miracle of grace is no miracle to Love" (Science and Health, p. 494,) but this was a miracle to me at the time. This same child had all over her body a very bad eruption which the doctors said was due to tuberculosis of the blood. Of this also she has been healed. These are only two of the many ailments that have been overcome for us through the study of Science and Health.
Words cannot express my gratitude and love to the dear woman who gave to the world this blessing. She has surely opened up the way for all mankind to find the truth of being,—the teachings of Christ Jesus.— West Philadelphia, Pa.
