About three years ago I was a semi-invalid with a disease which the doctors were unable to cure. One Wednesday evening at church the thought came to me that I must work out my own salvation. Daily I read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which previously had cured me of rheumatism. The present difficulty, however, needed a better and fuller understanding of the truth; and when this was won, all the physical ailments were forgotten and gradually disappeared, never to return. I am deeply grateful for this healing.
I am unable to express in mere words my gratitude to God for the spiritual enlightenment which came to me through class instruction, and which is unfolding to me more of Truth as I daily study the Scriptures in connection with the inspired writings of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
Just about a year ago I was in great distress on account of business difficulties, which caused me many sleepless nights. It was then I learned the real meaning of the Lord's Prayer, and felt the nearness and loving-kindness of our Father-Mother God. His loving, protecting hand cleared up all my business difficulties and reversed the evil intentions of my so-called enemies into manifold blessings for me.
