In gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and to Mary Baker Eddy, I desire to tell of some of the good that has come to me through the study and application of the truths found in the Bible, and elucidated for humanity in the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. In the first year of earnest study and endeavor to practice these truths, I was healed of severe headaches, a bad cough, asthma, and constipation of years' standing, calling only once upon a practitioner for help. In the years since beginning this study I have spent only one day in bed, and that was at the birth of our baby.
It was through the reading of a Christian Science lecture in one of the daily papers that my husband and I decided we had found how to attain the peace for which we had been longing. The way has been joyous, and problems have yielded quickly when this teaching has been correctly applied; and when, through ignoring God's law and submitting to the human will, sorrow has come. God's light has shone through, and with the passing of the cloud the way has opened clearer and brighter.
I am sincerely thankful for the physical healings, and for the harmony and love we enjoy in our home.
