I should like to testify to the healing and saving power of Christian Science, and to express gratitude for the many blessings it has brought into my life. I had wandered in the wilderness for many years, and I was tired of the world and its ways. For over thirty years I had not been to a place of worship.
In 1913 I was invited to a Christian Science Sunday church service, and from that night I became a changed man; all my old ways began to leave me as I sought for God as taught in Christian Science, and I was healed of many discordant conditions. The smoking habit, biliousness, constipation, and defective eyesight were instantaneously healed through the power of Truth.
Before the world war I purchased a business, which turned out to be a very sick one until my wife asked me why I did not seek God's help in it. After thinking about this for some time, I decided that it should be God's business. For the following sixteen years I was never without work, proving that God can heal a sick business as well as a sick body. I have proved the words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
