Since I began the study of Christian Science the blessings that have been bestowed upon me have been many. The earnest study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, freed me from a troublesome disease which had bound me intermittently for seven years.
My daughter has also been helped. Following a heavy case of grippe during the winter, she suffered in the spring from pain in her left knee so that she could hardly stretch her leg. In June the trouble became aggravated, and a large swelling appeared on the knee. Since I had told her of the many healings which were accomplished through the understanding of Christian Science, she declined to go to a physician; and when she met a Christian Science practitioner at a friend's home, she asked her for treatment, which was lovingly given. This was on a Friday. On Saturday she was able to bend the knee without experiencing pain and felt very well. By Sunday the swelling had entirely disappeared, and she felt as if nothing had ever been the matter with her knee. The healing was complete.
