It is my desire to give testimony to God for the numerous blessings I have received, thanks to the teaching and practice of Christian Science.
This Science, which was presented to me by a practitioner, brought our home precious comfort at a time when all seemed lost. Our little boy was in the country for his health, as, according to the doctor and radiotherapy, the child should not stay by the sea, because of several attacks of pneumonia which had come close together. He was splendidly healed without my being able to say exactly when, and this error has never again presented itself. I can never wholly express the joy we felt when the practitioner told us that we might at that very time bring home our child, from whom we had been separated for many months.
Since then I have studied the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and all her writings have been true friends to me. The light which this reading brought, made it possible for me to understand God, as I had so long wanted to do, and to find in His love solace for an old sorrow. Having lost my parents I had remained in the shadow of this sadness, always pining, despite the material efforts I made to find joy and health. Today I am in good health, and I have found spiritual joy.
